The departments comprising Facilities & Safety work hard to make a difference in the community, and also for the university.
- FSECC Pie Throw Fundraiser, October 31, 2007
Facilities & Safety personnel, as well as participants from UPI and UCF Administration & Finance, put themselves up to take pies from the highest bidder. Visitors from all over the university came down to the UCF Police Station to donate to the cause. Overall, the event raised nearly $1,100 to benefit Hospice.

- FSECC Facilities v. Safety Softball Game, October 31, 2008
Facilities & Safety personnel teamed up to compete in what will hopefully be the first annual Facilities v. Safety Softball Game. This three inning game lasted for almost three hours, and allowed everyone on both sides a chance to play. The money raised went to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida.
